Prof. Haruhiro Inoue’s manuscript,
“Dynamic functional evaluation of the anti-reflux mechanism with simultaneous endoscopy and manometry as a provocative test,” has been published in Endoscopy as an E-Videos article.
This report presents the first clinical application of the endoscopic functional study integrated system (EFSIS), which integrates the endoscopic pressure study integrated system (EPSIS) with high-resolution manometry (HRM). This novel system enables real-time, dynamic evaluation of the anti-reflux mechanism, including LES/UES function and esophageal peristalsis.
