We are pleased to announce that Dr. Masayoshi Kure’s manuscript,
“Esophageal Lichen Planus Developed in a Patient With Achalasia,” has been published in the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

This case report describes a whitish elevated esophageal lesion detected on post-POEM follow-up endoscopy that, after detailed evaluation and diagnostic ESD, was diagnosed as esophageal lichen planus (ELP). The case highlights the importance of careful endoscopic assessment in patients with achalasia.
