has been published in Clinical Journal of Gastroenterology.

This report describes an extremely rare case of a neuroendocrine neoplasm arising at the esophagogastric junction that contained an amphicrine carcinoma component, exhibiting both endocrine and exocrine differentiation within the same tumor cells.
The diagnosis was established through detailed histopathological examination of the ESD specimen. Additional surgical resection revealed no residual tumor or lymph node metastasis, and the patient remains disease-free.
This report represents the first documented case of a neuroendocrine neoplasm with an amphicrine carcinoma component arising at the esophagogastric junction.
Congratulations, Dr. Tanaka!
We wish him continued success in his future endeavors.
