This report describes a novel clip-assisted anchoring method that enables stable entry into the submucosal tunnel during POEM in patients with achalasia accompanied by severe submucosal fibrosis.
The technique may represent a useful approach that contributes to improved safety and success rates of POEM in challenging cases.
