本研究では、visible SCJとdistal EGJ relaxation failureを伴う新たなachalasia phenotypeに着目し、その臨床的特徴とPOEM後GERDとの関連について検討しています。

本表現型は稀であるものの、POEM後に高率に逆流性食道炎や重症GERDを認めることが示されており、術前内視鏡所見としての重要性が示唆されています。
