This report introduces a novel technique for severe pancreatic duct stricture associated with chronic pancreatitis, in which an additional pancreatic duct stent is placed while the previously placed stent is stabilized using a snare.

This technique enabled stable placement of the additional stent while preventing distal migration of the initial stent during device advancement, and may represent a simple and reproducible option for severe fibrotic pancreatic duct strictures.
