This report introduces a novel closure technique for post-endoscopic papillectomy ulcers using the endoscopic purse-string suture device “Loop 9.”

The technique enabled secure closure around biliary and pancreatic stents, including areas that are often difficult to close with conventional clipping methods, and may help prevent bleeding and stent migration.

This simple and reproducible technique may represent a useful new approach for the management of post-papillectomy ulcers.
