We are pleased to announce that a paper by Professor Haruhiro Inoue,
“A novel method for achieving effective hemostasis using a snare tip positioned within an outer sheath”
has been published in Endoscopy E-Videos.https://doi.org/10.1055/a-2883-1090
This report introduces a novel technique for achieving stable endoscopic hemostasis by modifying the snare sheath while keeping the snare tip fixed within the outer sheath.
The technique was applied to post-ARMS (anti-reflux mucosectomy) bleeding, demonstrating safe and effective coagulation without the need for fine endoscopic adjustments.
In addition, this method requires no dedicated hemostatic devices and may serve as a cost-effective and reproducible approach to endoscopic hemostasis.
